The International Health Office is dedicated to enriching the lives of faculty, staff, and students through the development and enhancement of international experiences and perspectives targeting global health issues. We create opportunities for you to select the exact international experience to suit your needs, whether on campus or in other parts of the world.
What do we offer?
- Student Programs: For students in health professions, dentistry and medicine looking for an international learning experience, either on-campus or elsewhere, please visit our Dalhousie Students site.
- International Students: Dalhousie University is a partner with the International Medical University of Malaysia. Details on this program can be found at the International Students site.
- Faculty: The International Health Office supports the initiation of new programs as well as the growth of existing global health research, education and capacity building initiatives. For more information please visit the Faculty site.
- Global Health Projects: Throughout the years, the International Health Office has participated in international projects with partners in more than 20 countries, generally funded by external agencies. Details on these projects can be found by clicking on Partnerships.
- Global Health Research: The International Health Office enables, facilitates and advances research of students and faculty committed to global health while encouraging others to become interested and get involved. - Travel information: Our office provides pre-departure briefings and a travel registration service to travelers in the Faculties of Health Professions, Dentistry and Medicine. Please visit the Travel Registration site for more information.
